Well, it was time for Carter to have his first haircut. He does not have that much hair, but what he did have was not evenly distributed. He has the most adorable curls when it is wet, but with it dry it is long on the sides and back and quite lacking on the top. He had something of a mullet or male pattern balding that is quite fine for a male in his later years, but not the most flattering for a child of ten months! He sat very nice (for the most part) in his bumbo chair with his hair cape on. He didn’t even mind the buzzing and vibrations of the clippers. Way to go Carter! I bet I could have gone shorter to even things out more, but I couldn’t bear to cut off any more. I saved his first little locks in a Ziploc bag. He really has the softest hair.
This post cracks me up! Carter is just getting his first hair cut at 10 months...Ryan had 4 by the time he was a year! That is great that he did so well with the clippers! I had a bit of a hard time with the first one too...it should have been cut much earlier! My kid had the white mans afro going on! Carter looks very handsome with his new haircut!

I remember first haircuts being sort of a sad but exciting moment. I missed their baby hair but loved the new big kid look. I wish my kids had curls!

He did need a little snip snip. I did love his little curls though, so cute! But his hair looks good now too. He's just always cute!
