Christmas Afternoon 2012

Sunday afternoon the "Osmun" family gathered at the Potter home for more presents and family time together.

Drew was given a super cool magnet set that seems to be quite the favorite with kids and adults alike! Carter still checks out every once in a while when things are busy to play some Angry Birds. My parents were so generous with gifts and we all enjoyed spending time together on a very special day. I love Christmas and it is just a little more special when it lands on the Sabbath.

A kiss is not a kiss without some plastic wrap.....oh how Miss Maylee LOVES her Grammy!

The "older" kids loved playing the snowman game with Aunt Lulu....smart aunt to bring a fun game for the kids!

And the night ended with some fabulous sparklers. Minus a burnt finger on Carter everyone had so much fun!

A night isn't a night without a little snuggle from this princess.....Aunt Lulu soaked in every moment...and so did Maylee!

Christmas Morning 2012

This Christmas was a good one. I love my little family and seeing joy in our little people's eyes. I'd say they were pretty happy with their gifts and the mess speaks for itself. Give Drew some Star Wars, Carter some cars, and Maylee anything sparkly and pink and we have three happy kids...at leas that is how it worked this year. I am sure it will get harder as the years pass, but for now we soaked in all the smiles, joy, and playtime we could get!

Oh, and I loved the pictures on the presents...it made it easy for them to tell whose was whose and I can never get enough of those cute little faces!

Oh how we just adore these three little faces....cute cute cute.

Christmas Eve 2012

Presents from Grandma Dianna and Grandpa were a big hit. Maylee loves her baby and the boys love their new coloring books and "Spy" book. Obvious Carter was beside himself about the new box of crayons!

Christmas Even with the Bakers is a tradition. We got together with the Baker brothers and had soup bowls (I think three of us brought some sore of potato soup...funny) and then we do a nativity and talent show. The kids have a blast! There is lots of noise and lots of laughing. Drew and Emma were Mary and Joseph and were just adorable. Carter checked out about half way through the party since it was a little loud. He did bust a move a bit when the dancing was going on...wish I got a picture of that!

We ducked out of the bigger Baker family gathering with all the cousins. The kids were spent...and I was wiped. We made it home and the kids loved their Christmas jammies! (I had good intentions of making them jammy pants, but I cut the material wrong....needless to say I made a quick trip to Costco....) Jammies were followed by a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas, putting out cookies and milk for Santa, reindeer food in the lawn, normal nightly routine, and topped off with checking to see where Santa is flying and actually HEARING his bells and "ho ho ho" outside!!!!

 Cuteness....

Wishing-ness....

Cleanliness....

Coldness....

Silliness....

Craziness...

Jumpiness....

Adorableness....

Sadness...

Joyfulness...

(knocking on the door to taunt the dog is always joyful around here...)
