Bryan earned a fabulous trip to Vegas through work. We got a sitter for the kiddos and headed out on Thursday morning. I love having a baby sitter I can trust and sisters who are there for everything else. We stayed at the Vdara which was the only hotel in Vegas that doesn't have a casino in the bottom and has no smell of smoke. It was SO nice.
We checked in and took a much needed nap! Night one we ate at the Bellagio buffet and then went to see Frank Canerino (comedian). The food was delicious and the show was so fun.
Day two we slept in a little and then headed out for some walking around. We walked and walked and walked. We ate at the Mi Ami Gabi which was DELICIOUS. I am still dreaming of the "baked cheese" with garlic toast. It was amazing, seriously at the top of my list of three favorite foods. We walked around the Forum Shops at the Cesar'sand of course went to the M&M factory to get gifts for the kids. We actually ate a late breakfast and early dinner so we skipped lunch all together.
For dessert we met up with my wonderful childhood friend Ashley and her husband. We had cupcakes and eclairs and ran into ANOTHER childhood friend who was there visiting too. So fun! We watched the Bellagio water show and then got some gelato just the two of us.
The next morning we ordered room service and enjoyed every bite and then it was out the door and on the road. We had so much fun together and enjoyed relaxing and just being him and me. Minus the lovely billboards and crazy people who flap the cards at night and try to hand them to my husband - I really enjoyed my hubby time.
I sure was glad to get back to these little people though.

We stayed at Vdara and I loved it! It was especially nice to be able to hide Charlotte's crib away from the bed so she couldn't see us and would actually sleep. What a fun little getaway!
