First day of summer. It has been a doozy. The kids are trying to figure
out their groove with everyone home all day. I am in the same boat. No
more morning work for me. I will have to return to late night typing so I
can get it done without little people needing mommy to play! The house
was a tornado this morning with lots of toys and playing going on
scattered with pestering, bugging, hitting, screaming, pushing,
blocking, and crying. We needed to get out so we headed to the dollar
theater with Shell and Hailee for some McDonalds and Lorax. The kids did
great. They all LOVE popcorn!. Minus Carter needing to pee three times
and Maylee once they all did super.
Funny story.
Maylee is napping. I am working. The boys are playing hide and seek
together. Round one Carter is to count and Drew is to hide. Drew was
stressed about not finding a spot to hide. Carter lovingly helped him
hide under their bed. Carter returned to the play room to count and then
set of to find Drew. I couldn't help but giggle when he walked around
saying "ready or not, here I come. Now, where is Andrew hiding?" He went
into his room and looked in all the other hiding spots while Drew
giggled from under the bed. As if he didn't know where he was......Oh I
love these boys when they play so nice together. It was the cutest
thing!!!!!
