So long 2012....from Cali

We made a trip to Cali just after Christmas to welcome home Tyler Baker from his mission! Of course when all the Bakers get together it is crazy busy and I forget to take pictures....sigh. I need to be better about that. I did get some cute ones of the kids with Grammy and Poppie.

Miss Maylee adores her Poppie and I don't think he minds his little snuggle bug. We made it to the zoo and the kids had so much fun! Maylee loved the big eared, tiny fox that was there (a favorite of my mom as well). I think the kids enjoyed playing in the yard as much as the zoo, well maybe not quite as much, but they sure had fun. Carter picked a pepper and proceed to plant the seeds in the yard. He had a blast! And Maylee enjoyed more snuggle time with Poppie. She even stayed asleep on him while we were loading up the car early in the morning.

I was so glad we stayed the extra day for New Years to spend some quality time without the stress of hurrying back to AZ. 

I wish they lived just a little closer because that car ride is anything but fun with three little people, but it is all worth it!
