A Whole Hand

Happy Birthday to his little man! He has turned a the big 5 and it has happened all too fast. He looks older...he acts older....and he is growing up way too quickly! He is so excited to be going to kindergarten next year and attending the same school as his big brother. This kid loves to read, do sticker books, run, hunt for bugs, help clean, thrives off of verbal praise, loves letters and learning, and could play video games for hours if I let him. He is sweet, silly, passionate, kind, tender, charming, shy, and can throw one sweet tantrum....goodness he is 100% boy!

Carter woke up very excited to pop his birthday balloons, knowing very well there would be 5 balloons with $1 bills in them. The kid loves money! We started off the morning by opening his gift from Grammy and Poppie. He LOVES his new Harley shirt and Drew was eager to ask if he was going to share it. *smile*

Carter had his day all planned out and of course it included Peter Piper Pizza and Red Robin. We checked Drew out of school for lunch and Jules met us there with Jared. The boys had so much fun. Of course my camera died right in the beginning. Sigh. Maylee was not a big fan of the moving rides...hence the tears!

Carter LOVES the mac 'n cheese from Red Robin...hence the very excited face. We ended the night with cake at the new house with Jules and kids. He is on a big Peter Pan kick so of course he requested a cake as such. He was super pumped about his new Peter Pan book and sleeps with it under his pillow....along with other various treasures he feels necessary to guard while he is sleeping.

It was so fun to celebrate the birthday of our sweet Carter. Our family would not be the same without him!

Charlotte stashes stuff under her pillow too! Last night I found a bunch of change from her piggy bank, my wallet!, and her toothpaste. She does this all time with the most random stuff. I don't get it but its pretty funny.
