My Little May Miracle

Carter Noble is now two months old!

My little angel baby is now 2 months old! These past two months have gone by way too fast, but I have enjoyed every moment. He is such a blessing in our lives and we love him so much. I can’t believe how much he has changed..

…he has doubled in size since the day he was born. I am not exactly sure how big he is, but between 10 and 11 lbs I believe.

…he now only wakes up two times at night to eat and those feedings only last about 5-10 minutes. Yes, I know he is not sleeping through the night like other babies, but I still say that is pretty good!

…he doesn’t cry at night! The way I know he is hungry is I can hear him “hunting” to eat. You can hear a little snorting sound I guess you would call it with his head going back and forth looking for food. It is quite adorable I must say!

…he can now take baths with Andrew in his little sling. It is too cute to have those two boys in the bath together each night.
…he can finally latch on to a passie, but he doesn’t want it any old time. It depends on the time of day and his mood, but it doesn’t last for too long, but he sure looks cute with it in!
…sad to say he is a bit of a spitter upper baby, but what do you do. I just am always ready with a burp cloth!
…Carter is a fabulous eater now and it is not too much trouble to nurse in public these days since he kinda has the hang of things now!

…he is starting to get more hair on the top of his little head with some curls right on the top. His hair is SO curly when it is wet and fresh out of the bath, but calms down once it is dry.
…he is getting quite chubby and we love it, but I do miss the tiny little thing he was when we brought him home.

…he enjoys his diapers being changed and finds it the perfect time to help relieve some of his gas…funny kid!
…I still adore it when he sleeps on my chest. There is no feeling that comes close to a sweet sleeping baby on you.

…he is the best morning baby ever. His first morning awake time, usually around 7 or 8 (or like this morning 4:30!) he gives the best smiles and coos. I just love it.

This little miracle baby has brought our family so much joy and I can’t imagine our family without his sweet presence.
**All these pictures were taken yesterday on his 2 month old birthday - check the dates...you better believe it. I have become quite the camera happy mommy!**

i LOVE it when Katelynn does that back and forth head motion when she's hungry! Jake likes to tease her and let her continue to try and find his boob and she gets really frustrated and screams. Haha. It's funny though. I love what you did with your 2 month post...i may have to do something like that with mine.

Carter has filled out quite nicely from the little man he was! He is beautiful! I hope he and Andrew will be very close brothers/buddies!

He is so cute! Happy 2 month Birthday Carter! Only getting up twice a night is great, you are so lucky! Ryan was doing really well with that too, until we got of schedule (family was in town, Camarillo) and it has just gone down hill since then! And from what I hear, most babies his age are not sleeping through the night yet, so at 2 mos old, Carter is doing great! Hope it continues to go well! Oh, Jessica is in town now and the 3 of us should do lunch one day before you move, call me and let me know what works for you.

Don't let anyone tell you that your baby should be sleeping through the night yet. As long as they go back to sleep after a feeding, everythign is fine, especially since you say his feedings are brief. A sleeping baby on your chest is about the best thing there is, I agree! Enjoy the next few months. They go fast.

I love the gater suit. I know he has Osmun in him cuz I can see he resembles mine a bit when they were tiny! Yes, sleeping through the night will come in time!! He's still so tiny he needs it!

Your kids sure are cute, Megan.

And that's awesome sleeping! "Sleeping through the night" means something like a 6 or 7 hour stretch.

And my mom swears no kids she's ever known needed less than two night feedings before 11 or 12 lbs.

What a cute guy! Oh my gosh, he's grown. He sounds like a fabulous sleeper! Lincoln still sometimes wakes up twice at night and wants to nurse for a couple of minutes. It works for us!
