To Do List

How is it when I have a ton of work (typing) my “to do” list is SO long and I feel like I can hardly take a break to breathe. Laundry, dishes, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, grocery shopping, doctor appointments, phone calls, etc, etc, etc….

But when I have  no work I am far from productive. I find myself in slow motion mode and hardly get anything done around the house.

I do like a break to relax once in a while, but it is nice to have things to keep me going. Deadlines and lists help me be productive….

I just find it strange that when I have no time, I need more time and when I have time, I don’t do enough to fill it! I am either in super go mode or sluggishly slow mode. I do think it is good to have a little of both, but one of these days I hope to find that happy “comfortable” mode that is a nice balance of both.

I suppose I can give this a shot this weekend since I am all caught up on work – hooray!!! I am aiming for a clean house, a little home decorating, and fun Easter activities with the family!

Oh, honey, I'm the same way! Let me know when you figure out the trick to keeping that balance! :)

So, what's your "work" besides of course running a family?
And, about the animals- they are by a company called Schleich. You can find them at Target or Toys R Us or many "teacher" stores. They are usually in a display of open boxes with tons of kinds of animals- at Target they are typically in the same aisle as the little Kitchen that Target makes (also adorable) Hope that helps!
