Yesterday went by fast. Drew had his little surgery done and did SO well. He was pretty scared with it being a new hospital and such, but he was a trooper. He comes out of anesthesia so well now. There is no crying or anything. He just likes to snuggle and sleep it off. Sweet boy. The nurses just loved him! We came home and rested most of the day, that is until dinner time rolled around and of course he wanted "fry store". Thanks for going to In n Out with all of us - they boys loved it. Drew thought the hats the nurses wear are so funny so his postop nurse gave him one to take home. As we learned, Drew has sensitive skin and I think they taped his little eyes so he had little purple rings below his eyes all day...along with bonus red circles on his chest from the sticky circle things. But he is still so happy despite it all! (Yes, there is pee in the little potty - gross, I know...I guess better there than all over the bathroom like when we used to let them stand and pee.....sigh - the joys of little boys!)
Carter learned how to roll his tongue yesterday and was so thrilled with himself. He shows me over and over again.
