We have been so blessed to have been able to adopt our sweet boy Andrew this afternoon. It has been a long time coming and I can't believe it is finally official! What a wonderful day!! We left early this afternoon to go through this file and get any information we might need later on and then we headed to court. The whole proceeding lasted about 15 minutes and consisted of us verifying who we were, that we wanted to adopt Andrew, and signing of papers. Andrew was a good boy (especially for not having a nap). He colored and the judge even gave him a stuffed animal pig that is so cute and soft! He sure knows how to light up the room, especially now that he is talking more. We had his case worker there, his attorney, adoption worker, and old case worker, as well as our Family Resource Consultant from Orem and her supervisor! Andrew is loved by so many. After court we headed back to Provo to eat...Price does not have the greatest selection of restaurants. We ate at the Goodwood Smokehouse, which is amazing!
I just want Andrew to know that I love him more than anything. He is an amazing child and I know that he was sent to our family. The Lord has a plan and sometimes it is hard to see things the way they are supposed to be, but I have learned to trust in Him and things eventually work out. We went through a lot and had to rely on faith for so much, but I am so grateful for an all-knowing Father in Heaven who loves us and knows each one of us. Andrew is now officially a part of our family and I know without a doubt this is where he is supposed to be. He is such a blessing and miracle. He has blessed so many lives and I know he will continue to do so. I love you Andrew!!!!

Hey just wondering - did you name Andrew yourself, or was it just a coincidence that his middle name is Bryan??
