Nighttime Discoveries

Andrew sits on my lap and I sing to him before he goes to bed everynight. He used to let me rock him and snuggle him, but now he prefers to just sit on my lap and and play with his stuffed animal while I sing. Well, this particular night he wrapped his little arm under mine...oh, so sweet, I know. Then I could feel him feeling my elbow. I don't think he has ever explored the feeling of elbows before. He kept running his little fingers over it and then he even grabbed a hold and pulled a little...followed by letting go and tickling it, saying "tickle, tickle". I don't know why but I really found it amusing and I had to control my giggles and finish singing. What a funny kid. Looks like we will be expanding our body parts vocabulary...on to elbows and shins!!!

**Don't know if it is true or not, but I once learned that the skin on the elbow is called a "noop". If you squeeze pinch, pull, or poke your noop it does not hurt. Go ahead try it - pinch it hard - you won't feel any pain!**

If you dog your nails into it, you can feel some pain Ü
