What’s In a Friday Night

A couple weeks ago on a Friday evening Bryan and I were discussing how life has changed for us. There we were on a Friday evening, sitting home with the kids with nothing planned. It really wasn’t THAT many years ago…okay, maybe quite a few, that we would die if we had to stay home on a Friday night. My friends and I would plan a week ahead for outfits for the stake dance.  We would spend hours doing hair and make-up. We would drive quite a ways just to go to a dance to get our groove on and meet boys. Now I have my honey….and little ones….and I know times will change again and date night will become more exciting and more frequent, but for now I have to say I am happy with how the evening ended. We met up with my mom, Lu and her family, and Shell and Rich at Coldstone. Yummmmm!DSCN0513

I had to get a picture of Andrew since he had already been bathed and was in his jammies with shoes on – he just looked to cute!

DSCN0517Carter was being so funny – he was so loud and quite entertaining – I love to see his personality emerge.

I know what you mean. But Coldstone is not such a bad family date. :)

he was super loud that night! Funny how those noises come out of that little body.
