I tracked down a local pizzeria that makes authentic cannolis. We had heard so much about them on Cake Boss and Everybody Loves Raymond. I just had to try one. As a family outing Friday night we ventured out and bought one...yes, just one. It was $4.50!!! It was small, but sure packed a lot of flavor. The shell was nice and crunchy and the filling was SOOO creamy and rich. It had mini chocolate chips throughout it with chips covered in powdered sugar on the outside. Yum! We all shared it and enjoyed it. Bry said it reminded him of a crunchy donut, but I thought it was quite a bit richer. Maybe not on my top 5 dessert list, but it was quite yummy!!
