Needless to say, Bryan and I miss Utah. We miss the leaves changing, the weather changing, and it getting cold enough to actually need a jacket all day long and not just in the morning. We miss the snow and the feeling that Christmas is coming! Well, we can’t have that now so I was so excited to get our Christmas decorations up so we can start to get in the Christmas mood!!!
Last weekend we brought out our box of decorations (I don’t know what we will do when we have a home bigger than an apartment!) Andrew was full of anticipation as to what was in the box. He kept pulling things out and was so excited!
Bryan and Andrew set up the Nativity. It was so sweet watching Andrew waiting patiently as Bryan explained each piece. Andrew responded with a yes occasionally and seemed to be really paying attention. He was excited to be able to put baby Jesus in the manger (he called it a bath at first). We are SO excited for this holiday season and to celebrate the birth of our Savior (even if we don’t have snow…).
