Four Months

August 15th, 2010

Miss Maylee is now four months old

Where has the time gone?? Has she really gotten this big already?

Maylee has changed so much over this past month and is really developing more of a personality. She is a way fussier baby than Carter was, but we are finding she is slowly starting to come out of it. I find that I can get her to bed at night without having to walk her anymore. I can just sit on the cough and pat her back and she goes out.

She has officially moved into her own bed and out of our bed. We are all getting better sleep these days.

She has rolled from her tummy to her back three times!

She smiles so much and it is just so cute how her little eyes turn into half moon shape with a big grin.

She is SO strong. I put her on the boppy pillow and she pushes herself up and over with her little legs.

She coos and talks in the most adorable way possible. We soak it allll up when she does this.

She loves to watch the boys play and has her eyes glued to the TV when I change her diaper and the boys are watching a show.

Her brothers still adore her.....all the time.

She still cries in the car, but not all the time now which is such a relief, but she does really scream sometimes still.

She has more awake time now with naps instead of napping all day and just waking to eat.

She is sleeps great most nights and usually doesn't wake up to eat until about 4 or 5. She even slept in until 11:45 in the morning once!!!

She has now outgrown most of her newborn clothes and is moving into 0-3 months size.

She prefers mommy over pretty much everyone. Still won't take a bottle or paci....but she loves her cute little thumb! I can hear her sucking it in the middle of the night. Cute and convenient now...we will deal with breaking that habit later.

Stats:

Weight: 10.0 lbs
Height: 21.5 inches
HC: 38.5 cm

so cute and tiny! I think Charlotte at that age was like 12 lbs and 25 in long... amazing how quickly they grow!

Oh my goodness, she is getting so big!! I mean, in comparison to how teeny tiny she was to begin with. Still super adorable, though and I love those big, blue eyes. :)
