Every day this summer Drew has asked me....school tomorrow mom? I would remind him it was summer and there was no school during the summer and his teachers wouldn't be there. unavoidably this would be followed with a nice whine and begging to go to school. He LOVES school and his friends. I was so excited to be able to tell him yesterday that school was tomorrow!!!
He goes to afternoon preschool so he had to make it though the morning and lunch before we could go. Lunch was a bit of a fiasco. I left the kitchen for about 5.2 seconds and came back to juice box everywhere along with Carter's leftovers all over the floor. Hence the reason for the juice soiled shirts....boys will be boys!
Of course the morning wouldn't be complete without a little dress up....
I thought Carter would have a meltdown when we dropped Drew off, but it was so stinking hot he just wanted to get back in the car and get some water. Being outside in 109° weather is just insane. As for this afternoon, I have forgotten what it is like to just have two at home. It was strangely quiet, but I am anxious to have Drew home any minute and hear about his first day back!!
