A Little Inspiration

We visited cool, sunny California this past weekend, but all those fun adventures will come when I have more time.

See that women above in the pink shirt - she inspires me. I love visiting and staying with her so I can watch and learn. She gives me such a boost to be a better wife, mom, friend, and person. She is amazing. She sees something to be done and she just does it. She doesn't procrastinate. She puts others first. She has such patience. She loves me and my family and I have never once doubted that.

I came home with a renewed sense to do better...to be better. I found myself ready to have a spic n'span clean house like hers...have more patience and better organized...be less frazzled and more fun.

Then reality hit. My kids require more time than I remembered...the house is a bit messier than I anticipated....and my work load does not get done as fast as I dream, but that is okay. I can still do a little better every day. I am so grateful for her example. I love her.....she is such a great Mom!

***I just love this picture of her. This candid shot just captures her joy.***

This is exactly how i feel about my mom! Thank goodness we have these role models in our lives that make us strive to be better people! I'm such a momma's girl. I hope my girls are too!

we have to remember, however, that we are seeing our mothers when they're houses aren't full of young children ;) maybe that's why they're so clean, they have so much patience, and there's no room for procrastination...haha...maybe oneday we'll be able to do it all too! love our moms.
