The medicine of sleeping babies. After this morning I didn't think I could manage another day stuck inside with this heat....but this afternoon I got a dose of what I so desparately needed. It was a late nap time due to therapy and time to get the kids to bed. Drew went down like a charm and Maylee was awake, but Carter needed to be rocked....so Maylee went in the Moby wrap and I shifted her to the right and then Carter layed on my left shoulder facing Maylee's face. A moment I will cherish. He just loves his sister. I rocked them both to sleep. Every time Maylee would grunt or squeek Carter would open his eyes and smile at her. It was so sweet. They both fell asleep in my arms. I transferred Carter to bed and slipped Maylee out and into her bed. Minus a little crink in my neck, it was perfect. Heavenly Father knew I needed that.
