Newest Osmun Family Addition

I am so excited to say that I have a new sister. My brother got married this last weekend to Tami...she is wonderful and we all love her already!

We decided we were all well enough to make the trip.  I really did not want to miss the wedding and being with all my family, but let me tell you....this past weekend was one of the busiest, craziest, but oh so fun weekends we have had in a LONG time. We left on Friday morning and got in that afternoon with just enough time to get changed and head to the rehearsal dinner. It was lovely and was fun to meet some of Tami's family and friends. Friday night we stayed at my mother in laws...we were definitely ready for bed. We finally got to bed around 10:30 I think. Drew slept on a little couch, Carter in his pack and play and me and Bry and the baby in bed. Carter was SO tired and to get him to fall asleep I let him lay by me and I rubbed his leg (he loves it when I do this - calms him down every time in the car) and he zonked out. It was the first time in a long time he just fell asleep without rocking in his room. It was so sweet.

We slept alright except that the boys were up with the sun. Bry took them to the store to get breakfast and let me and Maylee sleep a little while longer. Bry got a new suit for his birthday and spent the morning getting that fitted.

That afternoon we headed back to Ventura for the wedding. We had to get there early for pictures. My oh so talented sister swooped me up when I got to my moms and did my hair for me. It was SO fun - she is so great! I know....not the best picture of me, but still - she did a great job on my hair.

The babies were so good for the wedding and all the festivities...considering the craziness and lack of sleep. Hailee looked like such a dolly!

Shell busted out her skills to fix Tami's chipped toenail. Don't mind me in the background feeding Maylee.....anyhow - Tami looked like a princess!!!

My dad is so handsome...he was the Best Man

I have to say a wedding on the beach is AMAZING. Rylee and Lainy were the flower girls and they just loved it. They were quite popular with the bridesmaids and were so cute in their little dresses.

It was so beautiful. This angle does not really show how amazing it looked, but beleive me....the weather the perfect (a little cold) - the sky was clear and Jess and Tami looked amazing.

I love this shot of Aly - she is such a stunning little lady!

Carter was so tired and so cold. My dad wanted to cover him up and as soon as he did Carter started to fall asleep. It was so funny watching his little head drop while he was sitting there.

Bry took him inside which quickly resulted in a much needed nap.

The reception was amazing as well. We had delicious food and really had a good time. My wonderful husband took the boys back to the motel room after dinner and let me stay with Maylee.

Shell and I carried our little babies around that reception and it was so fun. We even busted some moves on the dance floor!

Maylee stayed in my wrap the whole time and slept quite soundly....which was great until it was time for bed and she decided it was time to be awake....sigh

My dad and Jess went a little crazy on the dance floor to MC Hammer - family tradition!

The night ended way too late and we were all way too tired, but it was so much fun! We made it to church on Sunday with my parents for Father's day and spent the evening with Bryan's brother Kirk and family. It is always so nice to get to see family we don't see often. That night we stayed at my parents and I actually got a decent amount of sleep.

Monday morning Bry took Drew to get some work done on our car and to see Toy Story 3 and I mingled at my mom's house until we headed to Simi to visit Liz and Ashley - which was so much fun.

We hit to road to head home that afternoon and arrived about 11:30. The trip wasn't too bad and all the kids slept the last 3 hours and all transferred to their little beds without waking. Hooray!

It was a great and oh so exhausting weekend. We had so much fun...especially Drew. He LOVED playing with all his cousins. Can I just say that I just this kid - he is so stinkin cute....very full of energy these days, but very cute!

Bry and I are still trying to catch up on sleep, but the boys seem to be back on schedule. I am looking forward to the next big family get together. This weekend went by too quickly and was too busy to enjoy everyone completely. It will be fun to have another family reunion complete with our new sister Tami!
