Sorting Out the Blurr....

Last weekend Shan and family came down to Provo to camp and for Ethan to play in a volleyball tournament. We headed over Friday afternoon to hand out. Carter was stoked to "camp" (aka roast marshmallows) and play with cousins and play they did. We didn't leave until 10:15 and it was not the funnest ride home and getting kids to bed I have ever done alone, but they slept in the next day - yay! Carter loved learning to play Volleyball and Maylee loved to run around. I think Saturday was Drew's hardest day....glad it only lasted a day and he was back to his happy, energetic self by Sunday!

Braved Sacrament meeting by myself on Sunday. Amazingly enough no one had to go potty or be taken out! They did great!!! Cookies after church makes the day even better too! Sunday afternoon we headed to the airport to get Amanda. The kids and I were SO excited to have her come!

Monday Carter got his first bee or wasp sting. This was the first sting for any of my kids. They were playing in the sprinkler out front and of course with warm weather and flowers and water the bees and wasps were not lacking. He got stung right behind his knee, but did great. We got some melaleuca oil on it and the magic oil made the swelling go right down and he felt better and couple more applications and he was up and running. This is Carter showing his sting with what is supposed to be a sad face!

Tuesday was cool enough to head to a nice fun, big park. We grabbed some Costa Vida and headed over. The kids had a blast! Only AFTER letting them totally soak themselves in the fountain (that other children were swimming in too) we noticed the warning sign that it was untreated water...nice. It is made for kids with the sandpaper bottom and the rules just said no climbing on the fountain. Ugh - yuck. Oh well - no one got sick and they had SO MUCH FUN!

No park day is complete without some snowcones. The kids were eh about the whole thing, but Amanda and I devoured our strawberry coconut (tiger milk) with sweet cream. Yum!
