Andrew's Team

Over the years I have truly come to realize that it takes a village to raise a child. My Andrew has brought so many people close together. He has more friends than I could ever dream of! Whatever aspect I look at in Drew's life there is a team of loving people there to support and help...doctors, therapists, friends, family, and even strangers. I tried my best to keep track of the written comments in support of Drewbie during his therapy session at Now I Can. I know there was so much support in prayers and thoughts and we cannot begin to express how much each and every one means to Andrew and our family. I am hoping one day Drew will read this and just being to get a glipse of how many lives he has touched and how many people love him and know how special he is.

It is amazing to me how such little ones are asked to be so strong and climb such high mountains to over come and conquer such trial times. I am watching an amazing little guy change hearts. Especially mine. And I also see a MOM who has other children to worry about, and how much time and energy and faith it takes a mom to watch her child grow and climb. More amazing is, this little guys story. How he was brought to your HOME. And I am glad Heavenly Father entrusted him to the Baker / Osumn home where he knew he would have the love and support to CLIMB such mountains. He has a great support team. GO Drew!!! - Tauni Poppleton

Tell him I am reading all about his day and how proud I am of him! We talked about "doing his work" and he is doing it!! I look forward to your posts every day Megan and can't wait till you guys get home. He is learning so much and I know you have no regrets about putting him in the program...I have no doubt he will make fantastic gains in his muscle training and movement. Say Hi to everyone and give him a HUGE hug from Becky!! - Becky Huppert

Oh how I love this precious child! AND his amazing, caring, supportive parents. This brought a tear to my eyes and a lump to my throat. I am SO happy for him. He is our gift... - Dianna Baker

I have been following. And I wanted you to know that little guy has touched my heart the past couple posts. And I thought if he at age 5 can go through such obsticles and has his whole life. I can deal with my day today obsticles and be just like Andrew. And HE is your Andrew Megan from the moment you two were brought together. Love. And glad you are another one of the favorite aunts to Ethan's kids. :) Hugs. If you need anything I am not too far from Provo. Would love to come visit and bring a treat for that Superhero. :) - Tauni Poppleton

Through the years and in the past few months we have watched Superhero's on TV and in the movies. What is it about superhero's that give us hope and want us to be better people? Fight for good? Change? Over come? Conquer?
For the past couple of days I have been reading about a new superhero. And I think the "Avengers" might want to take a step back and see what's coming down the road for the team. They better polish up their skills. Better take another look at what makes them superhero's. Because DREW in the blue and black shirt sitting in front of his dad, in the past couple of days has blown all of those Avengers out of the water.
Drew has an amazing story. But I knew he would be a superhero because of the amazing parents he was getting.
It was not by chance how he found his parents. And it was not by chance his parents fell in love with him when they met him. Now adopted and theirs forever. Drew has added an amazing kind of love to this family.
Bryan + Megan + Drew+brother & sister ='s Where the heart is.
Sending love and support to the Baker family. Love you Megan. And love that little superhero who has changed my heart this past few days in watching him Climb mountains, conquer his fears, over come pain, and building inner courage and strength he will use through out his years.

GO DREW!!! - Tauni Poppleton

I love your boy too! He is doing fabulous! Keep it up.... All of you. Can you hear the cheers coming from Arizona?? They are LOUD! - Becky Huppert

Tears to our eyes is right! Great job Andrew! We just love you SO MUCH! - Grammy

Oh my Drewby! It makes me sad he cries...but he is doing so fabulous! What great accomplishments they are making with their hard work and Andrew's!!! We love you Andrew! - Grammy

This shows what a blessing it is to come to earth.
No matter what we have to experience. We get up in the morning and become a super hero.
Andrew is my example of a hero who will give me the courage to deal with adversity without complaining
I see the Fathers love in this child. - Poppie
