Therapy Day 13

Two days left.....can't believe it! I got to stick around for a bit this morning. They showed me the stander and said Drew would really benefit from it. Doesn't look too hard to make! They assessed some of his goals today and it was awesome to see. He looked AMAZING. He even actively dorsiflexed his left ankle to neutral which is HUGE. We have only been able to get that range and some with passive when we stretch him. He just lifted his little toes and up his foot went. I have been so amazed with this whole experience. When we were walking into therapy I reminded Drew to walk with his heel down first and he did it, of course. He then says to me "I can do that....I don't need therapy." Oh he is just so cute! Today was Drew's last day with Thomas and he was said to see him go. Thomas really was a big help and positive aspect of Drew's therapy. We have been so blessed with so many wonderful people that help our little boy.
