Therapy Day 8

Drew worked hard today at therapy.  When I picked him up they told me he did awesome on the stairs! He never ceases to amaze me with his dedication and stamina. I know I would be a lot more resistant and stubborn with day after day of hours of therapy that pushed my limits. There were tears of course and I actually heard him cry....it was sad. I left and then came back in to drop off his snack and I could hear him crying during his stretching, but of course Thomas saved the day and made him laugh it off. What great staff and volunteers!

As for his schedule - take a gander:

8-9 Prep/Stretching & Myofascial Release, NDT points of control
9-10 Neurosuit
10-10:30 Spider Cage
10:30-11 Stander/snack
11-12 Functional activities, transfers, TAct

He so much wanted to go swimming...and so today - we did. He LOVED it. Social active play is his element. He talks to everyone - parents, lifeguards, and of course other kids. He made a cute little girl friend. I think they played for hours together. So cute. I am sure he is going to have some cute little tape tan lines by the end of all this! Love my boy...
