I am not a big tent camping person, but I have to say I do enjoy nature. We have slim pickins' around here when it comes to lush green or even big shady areas, but we take what we can get. Last Sunday I told the boys we were going to go gather nature for a craft project. They were so excited. We all headed over to a Riparian Preserve (aka the closest place we have that has lots of plants, water, and birds). It was so nice and the boys had fun gathering leaves, sticks, and seed pods for our project. This week we worked on the project all the while practicing our letters. I think it turned out pretty cute and it reminds me how grateful I am to a loving Father in Heaven who has blessed me with so much.

GREAT idea! I might have to come borrow some of your nature... Mine would all be made of dirt.
