Sugar...sugar...and more sugar

I am thankful for sugar. I have a serious sweet tooth. We have been really restricting our sugar intake so it was fun to take a break and have some serious sugar craziness. We did a gingerbread house contest with the girls versus the boys and the kiddos had their own too! We had a blast and they all turned out great!

We had quite the candy assortment...little (and big) fingers found there way up there quite often.

The kids ate and decorate. Lainy really went to town once she got her hands on the icing. I think theirs turned out fabulous! See Carter eating candy....the child loves his "treats"

Lu was the team lead for the girls. We had so much fun!!!! The boys enjoyed themselves too I must say. They get a little competitive and quite creative. This is one of my favorite holiday traditions! Of course, no Osmun family event is complete without a little icing fight!

They all turned out great!!!
