Lean and Green
I am thankful for food - the healthy and the unhealthy (but mostly the healthy). Bry and I have been trying to eat healthier these past couple of weeks and have done pretty well. We have excluded potatoes, white flour and sugar from our diet, which includes breads! It was pretty rough at first, but we now eat so much more fruits and vegetables. It has made a difference in the way we feel and it is so refreshing. I look forward to our dinners together with a lean meat and a healthy serving of veggies. But we do all know that I cheat sometimes....as does he and that is okay. All things in moderation!

I don't know what kind of bread you like best but we eat ezekial type bread. It's sprouted wheat bread and way healthier than any other bread. It's part of the biggest loser plan. For one slice only 80 cal,.5g of fat, 110mg of sodium, 17 g of carb, 1 g sugar, and 3 g protein! Plus its really good and a piece is a pretty decent size. I like that it doesn't have high fructose corn syrup too like a lot of breads... even wheat! It's amazing what you find in food that seems healthy when you read the label. I also try to shop the most on the outer isles of the store of course I'm not perfect either but it sure feels good to try! I haven't bought ice cream in FOREVER and that is amazing in itself!
